I work with adults ages 24 and up who have experienced trauma or distressing events in their life. I provide individual therapy but may include family members or partners if needed.

Free Consultation

The 15-minute consultation is a short meet-and-greet. I will ask you to provide a summary of why you are seeking therapy. This will help me determine if I am a good fit for your needs. You’ll get a chance to ask questions about the therapeutic process. If we agree to work together, we will schedule your first appointment.

Online Therapy

I am a strictly online practice. You can commit to therapy without worrying about office distance and commute. Online therapy is ideal for clients who have busy schedules or physical health or disability symptoms that make it difficult to travel.

Before Your First Appointment

Before your first appointment, you will receive an email from me that gives you portal access to my electronic scheduling and billing system. Please complete the digital paperwork before your appointment. You won’t need to print anything and should take you 10-15 minutes to complete. You’ll also enter credit card information to be stored securely on file to process session fees using an auto-pay system.

Your First Appointment

You will receive an email with a link to access the secure video platform. At the time of your appointment, you will log into this virtual waiting room.

Your first session is for 50-55 minutes. During our first meeting, we will discuss what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. I will explain my therapy approach. You will also be invited to ask questions. We will begin building a preliminary plan with specific treatment goals.

Session Investment

I believe therapy is an investment in you, your emotional well being and the support you may need as you navigate this thing we call life. If you have the means to pay my full fee you will be helping to fund appointments for people who are accessing services at sliding scale rates.

I am an in network provider with the following insurance policies: Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield New York & Aetna.

If you choose to use your out of network benefits, I and can provide you with the documentation needed (superbills)I do accept FSA & HSA cards as forms of payment.

Please note: It is each client’s individual responsibility to determine their out-of-network benefits. I do not verify anyone’s eligibility for out-of-network coverage, nor do I guarantee any reimbursements.

I currently do not have any sliding scale availability. I do not believe in waitlist. If you need a sliding scale fee please check out Open Path Collective.
